Dallas-Based Southwest Airlines Co., and the company it purchased last year, Morris Air, had a combined total of 1.7 billion revenue passenger miles in April, a 15.7 percent increase over the 1.5 billion consolidated miles flown in April of 1993.

Consolidated available seat miles increased 19.5 percent to 2.5 billion from an April 1993 level of 2.1 billion,130. The consolidated load factor for the month was 68.4 percent, compared with 70.6 percent for the same period of a year ago.For the first four months of 1994, Southwest flew 6.7 billion consolidated RPMs, compared with 5.5 billion consolidated RPMs recorded for the same period in 1993, an increase of 22.4 percent. Consolidated ASMs increased 22.4 percent to 10 billion from the year-to-date 1993 level of 8.2 billion. The year-to-date consolidated load factor was 67.2 percent in both 1994 and 1993.
