Robert G. Webb was born July 21, 1909 in Lehi, Utah to Clara Rothe Webb and Bernard Webb. Married Phyllis Anderson, March 20, 1933 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

He passed away May 5, 1994 at the age of 84 of lymphomia.Robert attended school in Lehi. He served an LDS mission to Germany, which was his mother's homeland. As a young boy Robert worked with his brother and father on their farm West of Lehi. After his marriage he continued his favorite love, farming, for over 30 years. During World War II, he worked as a fireman at Camp Williams. He was an avid horseman and served as president of the Lehi Riding Club. He loved Scouting and served for more than 30 years.

He served as both Lehi and District chairman and attained the Silver Beaver Award.

Robert was instrumental in starting the Fathers and Sons Banquet in Lehi. He and his wife served a mission to Georgia as director of the LDS Church Farms. He was active in church and community affairs. He served as bishop of the Lehi First Ward and High Councilman for 15 years. He also served as Stake MIA president, and High Priest Group Leader. He owned a home in Ophir and entertained many of his friends and ward members cooking his famous steaks.

Robert will be missed most for his concern and compassion for others and his dedication to his wife and family.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis and only daughter, JaLaine and son-in-law, Neil Carson of Lehi; four granddaughters and 15 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Al (Blanch) Smith, Salt Lake City; two brothers, R. Ward Webb, Lehi; B. Richard Webb, American Fork; he was preceded in death by his mother, father and two sisters, Mable Jense and Vernette Tidwell.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 9, 1994 at 1:00 p.m. in the Lehi 1-6-16th Ward Chapel, 120 West 200 South. Friends may call at the church Sunday evening from 7-9 p.m. and Monday from 11:00 a.m until 12:30 p.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Lehi City Cemetery. Funeral directors, Wing Mortuary.
