SHARE U-39 TO MONTE CRISTO IS OPEN FOR THE SUMMER

U-39 to Monte Cristo has opened for the summer season, according to the Utah Department of Transportation.

UDOT attempts to open all recreation area roads by the Memorial Day weekend each year. The opening date for each road varies depending on snow accumulation and how quickly it melts in the spring.Roads that are still closed are U-190 through Guard-man's Pass; U-150 in the Mirror Lake area; U-35 in the Wolfcreek Pass; U-92, the Alpine Loop road; U-153 from Mount Holly Junction to Junction, Piute County; and U-148 in the Cedar Breaks area.
