Beulah Petersen Hill, 75, died on Tuesday, May 31, 1994 after a valiant battle with cancer and numerous other problems.
She was born August 31, 1918 in Granger, a daughter of Calvin and Elizabeth Lambert Petersen. She married Robert E. Hill, June 16, 1938, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, and lived in Granger prior to moving to Ogden. She was an active member of the Highland LDS Ward. She served in the Primary as a teacher, Primary president and on the Stake Board. She was also secretary of the Sunday School.She has left a legacy of her knitting by helping and teaching those she loved. She has worked as a knitting instructor at Knit Craft Studios and Golden Hour Center of Ogden.
She is survived by her husband, Robert, Ogden; one son and two daughters, Mrs. Darrell (Gayle) Cash, Roy; Joseph R. Hill and wife, Sue, Ogden; Mrs. Wayne (Margie) Smith, Roy; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters and two brothers, Noalen Petersen, West Valley; Mrs. Norm (Blanche) Hale, Midvale; Mrs. Fred (Faye) Royer, West Valley City; Darrell Petersen and wife, Virginia, Highland; and Reid Petersen and wife, Olive, West Valley.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Elaine Player.
Funeral services will be held in the Highland Ward Chapel, 1314 27th Street at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 3, 1994 with Bishop Jerry Nelson officiating. Friends may call at the Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday at the ward chapel one hour prior to services. Interment: Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park.
