Erma Anderson, age 85, passed away May 30, 1994 in Salt Lake City, Utah due to injuries sustained in a fall.

She was born August 15, 1908 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Edwin A. and Bessie N. Anderson. She married Sherman A. Anderson, Dec. 29, 1934, in Salt Lake City, who preceded her in death on December 25, 1953.Erma attended Tooele High School and later LDS Junior College. She began her working career with Kress, and after her marriage she traveled extensively with her husband throughout the West and Northwest. Following the death of her husband, in Spokane, Washington, Erma returned to Salt Lake City, and began working for Keith O'Brien Department Stores and later ZCMI until she retired at age 75.

Survived by her two nephews, John D. Kelly, (wife, Ruby) of Sandy, Utah; James J. Kelly, (wife, Nancy) of Salt Lake City; three grandnieces and one grandnephew. Aunt Erma always had a good sense of humor and retained her gentle and kind nature until the end.

Friends may call Thursday evening, June 2, 1994, from 6-8 p.m., Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 So. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery at 10 a.m. Friday.
