SHARE PETROLEUM COMPANY AWARDS 5 SCHOLARSHIPS WORTH UP TO $7,000 EACH TO STUDENTS IN UTAH HIGH SCHOOLS

Five Utah high school students have received scholarships up to $7,000 from the Educational Fund for Children of Phillips Petroleum Company Employees.

They are Wendy J. Heer, Viewmont, daughter of Garth L. and Judy Heer, Centerville; Natalie L. Hoskin, Alta, daughter of W. LaMar and Brenda Hoskin, Sandy; Jennifer N. Johnsen, Davis, daughter of David and Denise Johnsen, Kaysville; Ryan P. McBride, Woods Cross, son of James and Marilyn McBride, North Salt Lake; Kristina A. Potter, Brighton, daughter of David and Kathy Potter, Salt Lake City.Each will receive a $1,750 award renewable for up to four years.

Since the scholarship program was established in 1938, more than $7.5 million has gone to children of Phillips' employees.
