Dr. Stephen J. Lundquist, died May 27, 1994 at St. John's Medical Center.

He was born June 22, 1910 at Ogden, Utah, to Henry Gustav and Olive (Gardiner) Lundquist. He was raised in Ogden. He married Ruth Pursse, daughter of William H. and Johanna C. Prusse of Provo. June 24, 1938. Dr. Lundquist practiced dentistry in Longview.He earned his BA and Masters degrees from Brigham Young University, and did graduate work in Southern California. He graduated from North Pacific Dental College in 1945. He held licenses in Washington, Oregon, and California.

Prior to his career in dentistry, Dr. Lundquist taught music in New Mexico, Utah, and Idaho. A violinist, he was concert master of the Brigham Young University Orchestra.

Dr. Lundquist was a member of the LDS Church, Longview 2nd Ward.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Prusse Lundquist; a daughter, Carol Ann Isenhart, both of Longview, Wash.; a brother, Earl B. Lundquist; a sister, Ruth O. Rebentisch, both of Salt Lake City; two grandchildren, Christina Del Zotto and Barry Lee Isenhart, Jr., of Longview, Wash.

He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Andrew Lundquist.

The funeral for Dr. Lundquist will be 11 a.m., Monday, June 13 at Berg Mortuary, 185 East Center Street, Provo. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Eastlawn Memorial in Provo.
