Born Culver, Indiana, August 6, 1918 of 2519 Teal Rd. Brookmeade, Wilmington, Delaware.Retired as Manager Computer Systems Div., Hercules Incorp. April 1, 1983 after 22 years at Salt Lake City, Utah and Wilmington, Delaware and Manager Computer Developement, 20 years BENDIX Corp., South Bend, Indiana and Kansas City, Missouri.

Member St. Catherine of Siera, his wife, Mary Ellen Dowling Babcock, died in 1988. Father of Jeffery J. Babcock, Wilmington, Dela. Sisters: Nancy M. Clements, South Bend, Indiana; Shirley Ann Chapin, Grosse Point, Michigan; brother, Robert J. Babcock, South Bend, Indiana; eleven nieces, and nine nephews.

A Navy Veteran of World War II, enlisted as Apprentice Seaman 1942. Discharged as Chief Warrant Officer, 1946. Member American Legion, Post 4. Wilmington, Dela. New Castle Lodge 1578 Loyal Order Moose, and Legion of Moose, Felton, Dela. Loyal Orde of Eagles Ogden, Utah.
