Harry Kenneth "Ken" Brown, 82, passed away Monday, June 13, 1994 in Bountiful, of natural causes.
He was born March 13, 1912 in Pocatello, Idaho, a son of Henry Amner and Mary Jane Moore Brown. He married Wanda Little, December 31, 1940 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple on July 21, 1972. He was educated in Pocatello, Idaho, had lived in Pocatello, Salt Lake City, Utah, Kaysville, Utah and currently resided in Layton.He was a member of the LDS Church and had served in the Sunday School superintendency, High Priest Quorum, as a home teacher and temple worker.
He worked for National Biscuit Company as a salesman and shipping clerk and was general manager, plant operations for Clover Club Foods for many years. He was a member of Kiwanis Club.
Surviving are his wife, of Layton; three sons, Gregory L. Brown, Centerville, Utah; Bradley Kenneth Brown, Farmington, Utah; Rodney David Brown and wife, Nancy Ann, Thornton, Colorado; and three grandchildren, Genina Marie Brown, Corbin Kenneth Brown and Kelsey Ann Brown. Also surviving are two brothers and two sisters, Glynn W. Brown, Blythe, Calif.; C. Fred Brown, Carmichael, Calif.; Hazel Zweigart, Pocatello, Idaho; Shirley Nauss, Beaumont, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 16, 1994, 11 a.m. at the Layton Country Oaks LDS Ward, 2455 North Valley View Drive, Layton. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1074 North Fairfield Road, Layton, and Thursday at the church from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment: Lindquist's Memorial Park at Layton.
