SHARE BYU MANAGEMENT SOCIETY ELECTS CHIEF

William "Dee" Taylor has been elected president of the Brigham Young University Management Society for 1994-1995.

Taylor is president and chief executive officer of AT&T Universal Financial Corp. He spent 15 years with Citibank in South America and the United States, serving as Citibank's director of consumer banking in Utah until he joined AT&T in 1991.He is a director of the Utah Association of Financial Services and is a trustee of the Utah Opera Company.

The BYU Management Society is sponsored by the Marriott School of Management and boasts 35 chapters in the United States and 10 abroad.

More than 400 Salt Lake executives and management personnel participate in the society's activities. Snowbird owner and developer Dick Bass was honored recently by the society with its distinguished Utahn Award at a dinner at Snowbird.

Members of the board of trustees for the Salt Lake City chapter include Larry Corbridge and Jim Christensen of Corbridge, Baird and Christensen; Dee Williams of Bonneville Communications; and Janet Wagner and Bob Sizemore of Intermountain Health Care.

Also, Nancy Plant of the state Division of Risk Management; George Squires of Northwest Mutual/Baird Securities; John Toronto of First Security Bank; and Brent Bishop of Greenbacks/All-a-Dollar.
