Paul Armand Duford, 63, was killed in an auto accident near Norman, Oklahoma the evening of June 13, 1994.

He was born December 2, 1930 in Lyndonville, Vermont, the 17th child of Joseph Solomon and Elmina Belanger Duford. He married the love of his life, Sally Cheere Olsen, March 3, 1956, and was sealed in the Los Angeles LDS Temple.He recently completed an LDS mission with his wife, Sally in the Family History Department in Salt Lake City, Utah. Prior to his mission, he had served in many church callings. He attended school in Swanton, Vermont. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard during the Korean War. He had previously played baseball with the Pittsburg Pirates Farm Club team. He was blessed with two sons. He spent most of his married life in Southern California, San Fernando Valley. He worked for the Bank of America, the Boulevard Bank, and had a long career with the U.S. Postal Service. The family had just enjoyed a special vacation to the East Coast visiting with his family. He loved sports, was a wonderfully loving, kind and caring husband, father and grandfather. He was a man of great faith and very devoted to his family and church.

Survivors are: his wife, Sally; sons, Kevin Paul (Irene) of Kingman, Ariz.; Stephen Vaughn (Elizabeth) of Long View, Texas; grandchildren-the joy of his life-Michael, Nichole, Andrea, Bryan, Brent, and Kenneth Paul, and also by his dear dog, Rocky. Preceded in death by a grandson, Stephen William.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 18, 1994 at 1 p.m. at the Fausett Mortuary in Price, Utah. Burial in the Price City Cemetery.
