Dorathy Helen Stoker Egginton, age 80, returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, June 13, 1994.
Dorathy, our loving wife, mother, sister, grandma and friend, was born January 23, 1914 in Ogden, Utah, a daughter of Edgar Maurice and Evelyn Fowles Stoker.Dorathy married Harold Egginton on April 6, 1946 in Ogden, Utah; the marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
Dorathy was a member of the Kaysville 2nd Ward, where she served in various positions, especially in the Relief Society and Primary.
Dorathy was extremely devoted to her family and their well-being and was known for her grand feasts.
Dorathy will always be remembered for her kind nature and her willingness to help anyone. Her great sense of humor will be missed.
Surviving are her husband, Bullhead, Ariz.; five sons and one daughter, Harold W. and Pam Egginton, Blackfoot, Idaho; Glen Egginton, Bullhead, Ariz.; Michael and Jeraldean Egginton, Kaysville; Bob and Annelaurie Egginton, Elko, Nev.; Douglas and Kenna Egginton, Kaysville; Francine and Rodney Green, Kaysville; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers and two sisters, Floyd and Edna Stoker, Salt Lake City; Harold and Marsha Stoker, Hollister, Calif.; Jo Child, Sacramento, Calif.; Vera and Jack Janke, Walnut Creek, Calif.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Elaine Smith and a brother, Maurice Edgar Stoker.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 18, 1994, 11 a.m., at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main, Kaysville, where friends may call on Friday from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
