Tamara Jean Callister Barron, 54, died June 14, 1994 at her home in South Salt Lake.

She was born March 19, 1940 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Albert Fred Tennant and Donna Taylor. Her father died prior to her birth and she was adopted by Donald Delbert Callister.Married Larry M. Franc, later divorced. Married Robert R. Barron, later divorced.

Member, LDS Church. Through the many challenges that Tami faced throughout this life, she always managed to maintain her beautiful and caring smile. She always put her needs and feelings aside to provide love and support to her family and friends whom she cherished above all other things in this world. One of her many talents was to bring happiness and sunshine into the lives of those around her. She was especially fond of her many nieces and nephews and always had time to hear their tiny voices.

She has many special friends that have always been there to help her through this life.

Tami was raised in a family full of love and support and passed this love onto her three children who were truly the highlight in her life.

She is a super mom who has always provided for all her children's needs. She leaves many happy and loving memories to all who knew her and a special "I Love You" from Grandma Tami to her two grandsons: Ryan and Kevin.

Survived by two sons; Michael D. Barron and wife, Heidi, Glenview, Illinois; Russell S. Franc and wife Suzie, Camarillo, California; one daughter, Shalin R. Akins and husband, Steve, Magna, Utah; two grandchildren, Ryan Barron and Kevin Barron, Glenview, Illinois; a very loving, caring and supportive mother, South Salt Lake; one brother, Donald R. Callister and wife, Vicki, Salt Lake City; two sisters, Margie L. McCown and husband, Harold, Orem, Utah; Mary A. Nester and husband, Dan, Salt Lake City; and several very special nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceded in death by her fathers.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 18, 1994 at 12 noon in the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 South Highland Drive, where friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:45-11:45 prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
