THEFT OF RING STRIKES A RAW NERVE

SHARE THEFT OF RING STRIKES A RAW NERVE

Recently someone stole my wedding ring from the American Fork Recreation Center. Not locking the door was unwise, but I never dreamed someone would have the gall to sift through my entire locker's contents to brazenly snatch the ring from my pants pocket.

Obviously the thief was too lazy and/or stupid to care about how I felt when I discovered the ring missing, since I was just married a month ago. He was too ignorant to care about anyone's feelings except his own.My wife and I both work to support ourselves. Before our marriage, I was careful with my money and saved to pay off my car. We're planning to do the same with my wife's car and move into a house this fall. Buying another wedding ring wasn't another expense we wanted or could afford right now.

I'm sick of people that steal what other people work to pay for. In Venezuela, they ship their lawbreakers to an island surrounded by piranha and leave them there forever. I think that's not a bad idea, but not severe enough in some cases.

In the case of my wedding ring thief, I would be waiting on the shores of the island to push him in.
