The U.S. Auto Club has restricted the new Mercedes-Benz engine that Al Unser Jr. and Team Penske used to win the Indianapolis 500. For at least the 1995 race, the maximum mercury manifold pressure, or boost, for pushrod stock block-type engines will be cut from 55 inches to 52 inches.
