SHARE LEARN A REAL HEAP ABOUT COMPOSTING AT USU WORKSHOP

The rudimentaries of composting will be taught Saturday, June 18, at 9 a.m. at the USU horticulture farm pavilion, 1817 North Main at the Botanical Gardens. The free class will detail how to start a compost heap and will be taught by master gardener Don Gruenweald.

The garden also features plant diagnostic clinics every Tuesday from 1-4 p.m. through Aug. 30. USU Extension master gardeners and horticulturists are available during clinic hours to help solve plant problems and answer gardening questions free.The garden staff and volunteers give free, guided tours of the botanical gardens each Wednesday through Sept. 28. Tours may be given at other times with prior arrangements. For information call 451-3405.
