A 21-year-old man was arraigned Monday in 8th District Court on a charge of first-degree murder in the death of a 17-year-old boy.
Valentino Colorow of Myton is accused in the January death of Bill Poleviayaoma, whose skull was fractured. Poleviayaoma's body was found May 20 in a Gusher landfill, about 15 miles southwest of Vernal.The victim was last seen at a party in Fort Duchesne on Jan. 28. A search conducted by Duchesne County, Uintah County and the Ute Tribe failed to locate him until four months later.
Colorow was arrested Saturday by the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the FBI. He is being held in the Uintah County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.
