Quin T. Shepherd, age 85, died June 15, 1994 at Delta.

Born April 26, 1909 at Philadelphia, PA to Dr. Warren and Sarepta Sevy Shepherd. Married Verna Roberts November 28, 1941 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Served an LDS mission to Germany 1930-32. Graduated from the University of Utah. Businessman, cattlemen, and farmer for the past 60 years in Delta. Pioneered the poultry industry in Millard County. Instrumental in water use development and conservation in Millard County. Served as Chairman of the State Water Resource Board and as a member of the State Community Impact Board. He was a man of humor and integrity, who loved his family.Survived by wife, Verna, Delta; daughters, Annette (David) Canning, Mesa, Arizona; Carolyn (Richard) Feinstein, West Jordan; son, Dr. Edward (Melinda) Shepherd, St. George; son-in-law, Gary Barney, Lander, Wyoming; 13 grandchildren; sister, Mary Caffee, Bethesda, Maryland; brother, Dr. Sevy Shepherd, Camas, Wash. Preceded in death by daughter, Judith; three sisters and one brother.

Funeral services Monday June 20, 1994, 11 a.m. Delta 3rd Ward Chapel, 197 South 300 West, Delta. Friends call Sunday 7-8 p.m. at Nickle Mortuary, 190 South Center, Delta and at Church on Monday 10-10:45 a.m. Burial Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, Salt Lake, Monday 5:30 p.m.
