CLASSY LADY....and very best friend, the dignified but tough, Catherine Taylor Haggerty, stayed true to herself and her strong independent spirit until May 15, 1994, Salt Lake City, Utah.

For her friends, Charlotte and Cherie, she was forever there with love and support no matter what we were going through, good or bad. She was a great feminist mentor and realist whose motto was to "Take charge of and rule your own life." She was also a very good actress and painter who loved classical music, good food and all children. She was Grandma Catherine to many kids in the Grandma and Grandpa program.Born in Boston, Massachusetts, on March 2, 1917, to Cahterine and William Taylor, she is survived by her mother, two of three sisters, LaVenia Comerford, Mustang, OK.; and Margaret Walstrom, Kingman, Ariz.; and their extended families, and of course, her favorite niece, Venia Lindsey, her Goddaughter, Tanjy and Godson, Daniel.
