SHARE DEATH: NORMA DAVIS TANNER

Norma Elaine Davis Tanner, passed away at home on June 18, 1994, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born July 9, 1932 in Salt Lake City, a daughter of William S. and Eva May Bills Davis. She married Wallace LaVar Tanner on July 11, 1951 in Salt Lake City; solemnized May 26, 1960 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Norma has been an active member of the church all of her life, holding numerous ward and stake positions. Many of her callings were in music, one of her many loves. For the past 20 plus years she has been employed by Industrial Supply. We would like to give a special thanks to Phil Thompson, Jr. and Sr., Joyce Evans, and Jim Holmes and her other friends there for the help and support they have given her through this illness.

She is survived by her husband, LaVar; two daughters: Mrs. Esivi (Laura) Pau'u, West Valley City; Lynette Tanner, Kearns; son: Randy Tanner, Kearns; five grandchildren; four brothers and sisters: Mrs. W.J. (May) Baker, Southern Utah; Mrs. Jay (Helen) Black and Lawrence Davis (Greta), both of Salt Lake City; Roy Davis, Denver, Colorado. Preceded in death by her parents, one brother, two sisters, and two granddaughters.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 12 noon, in the Kearns East Stake Center, 4731 South 4300 West. Friends may call Tuesday, 6-8 p.m., at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Wednesday at the church, 11-11:40 a.m. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
