SHARE DEATH: TED E. STEPHENS

Ted E. Stephens passed away June 18, 1994 in West Valley City, Utah.

He was born April 14, 1916, a son of Willie Eddy Stephens and Ivy Zealous Jones Stephens.Married Alta LaVee Kenner June 26, 1936 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on December 26, 1941.

Member of the LDS Church and served as a temple worker at the Jordan River Temple for seven years.

Served in the Naval Reserves and was a vehicle inspector at the Tooele Army Depot for 40 years.

Survivors include his wife, Alta LaVee; children: Blair K. (Bonnie) of Murray; Lynda (William) Andersen of Sandy; Faye (David) Hunt of Clinton, Mo., Beverly (Brian) Ford, West Valley City; Claudia (David) Mecham, West Valley City; Ted Eddie (Diane) of Kearns; 32 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren; sisters: Erma Thorstrom of Murray; Irene Grass of Murray; Coleen (James) Crays of Ukiah, California.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 21, 1994 at 12 noon at the Hunter 23rd Ward, 3930 South 6000 West. Friends may call Monday, June 20, 1994 at the Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road between the hours of 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment - Redwood Memorial Estates.
