With the help of a Small Business Administration guaranteed loan obtained through Deseret Certified Development Co., Durrant Bakery has moved its manufacturing plant and retail store from 6034 S. 900 East to 2148 S. 900 East, the old Dunford Bakery location.

Will Durrant, owner and president, said the move allows the company to increase production. "We can expand our retail and deli services and pursue a wholesale business," he said.Durrant Bakery is a family-owned and operated business. Don and Kay Durrant, Will's parents, purchased Mason's Crown Bakery in August 1984 and operated it as Danish Crown Bakery. Will's brother, Tony Durrant, and their sister, Mary Francis, help operate the bakery that distributes a complete line of products to local hotels and restaurants, in addition to retail service.
