SHARE 3 `LEGACY’ SHOWINGS TO GIVE WAY FOR FUNERAL

Three Saturday morning showings of the film "Legacy" have been canceled because of funeral proceedings for LDS Church President Ezra Taft Benson.

The film will not be shown at 9:30 a.m., 10:45 a.m. or noon, to enable the 500-seat Legacy Theater, in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building at the corner of South Temple and Main streets, to provide live televised coverage of the funeral on the theater's big screen. The public is invited.Saturday afternoon showings of "Legacy," which depicts the struggles of Mormon pioneers in their historic trek from the Midwest to the Rocky Mountains, will continue on their regular schedule, at 1:15, 2:45, 4, 6:30 and 9 p.m.

No admission is charged, but tickets are required. Advance reservations may be made by calling 240-4383.
