Marian Young Morgan, 95, of California, one of two remaining grandchildren of Brigham Young, visited his grave in Salt Lake City Wednesday on the 193rd anniversary of his birth. The Brigham Young Family Association held several special events to honor the second president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A family banquet in the Lion House was held following a graveside service. Elder Russell M. Ballard, a member of the Council of the Twelve, and Leonard Arrington, historian and author, both delivered remarks at the meeting. Brigham Young was born June 1, 1801. He died Aug. 29, 1877.
