SHARE 3 HONORED FOR THEIR EFFORTS TO PROMOTE UTAH TOURISM

Louis E. Miller, executive director of the Salt Lake Airport Authority, Von Wayman, former director of the Castle Country Travel Region, and Garth Heaton, recreation staff officer for the Ashley National Forest, have all been named to the Utah Tourism Hall of Fame.

Miller is credited with promoting the growth of the Salt Lake City International Airport since 1982. It is now the 25th largest in the nation and the 47th largest in the world.Miller has also been active in Utah's bid to host the 2002 Winter Olympics, and has worked to attract aviation conventions to Salt Lake City. He is also chairman of the Airports Council International-North America.

Heaton has been involved in numerous state and local tourism efforts, and continues to support tourism initiatives in his new assignment as supervisory forester over recreation, lands and minerals for the Forest Service.

Wayman was honored for his years of tourism efforts in the Carbon County area and for his civic involvement.
