Gayle Birrell Poulsen, 72, passed away peacefully, June 19, 1994 of cancer.

Born October 3, 1921 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Burnice James and Luella Linck Birrell. Married Ted Charles Poulsen, October 9, 1942 in San Diego, Calif. Marriage later solemnized March 29, 1957 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, whose life was dedicated to her family and her church. She will be remembered for her thoughtfulness and service to others. She was a gifted floral designer having mastered this craft over the past 45 years.

Survived by husband Ted, Salt Lake City; three sons, one daughter, Craig L. (Sandi) Richmond, Virginia; Gary L. (Bonnie), Lorin T. (Sheryl), Candise (Sean) Dolan, all of Salt Lake; 18 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; brother, Lawrence L. Birrell. Preceded in death by her son, Ted Lynn and sister, Arlene Howard.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 22, 1994 at 12 noon at the Princeton LDS Ward Chapel, 1078 South McClellan Street, (1050 East). Friends may call at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and on Wednesday at the church from 10:30-11:45 a.m. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
