Richard Alan Davies died June 18, 1994 in Salt Lake City, where he was born April 2, 1959 to Bob and Shirley Davies.

He spent his childhood years with his mother in Las Vegas until 1973, then he returned to Salt Lake to live with his father and stepmother, Kathy. He later enlisted in the National Guard and received an Honorable Discharge. He then went to work for the Salt Lake Tribune for 13 years and proudly worked his way up to Journeyman, often in charge of running the press. He was very active in skiing, bowling, and fishing. He loved to travel and go camping.He was extremely close to all of his family and was very loved by all of them and we will miss him very much.

He is survived by his father, Robert Davies and his stepmother, Kathy; his mother, Shirley Carney and stepfather, Dan. He had four brothers, Robby and wife, Robin; Billy, Danny, and Ryan. He had four sisters, Janet, Verlynn, Debby, Stacy and her husband, Ronnie; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 22, at 2:30 p.m. at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Ave and N Street. Funeral directors, Deseret Memorial Mortuary.
