SHARE SNOW OFFERS VOCATIONAL COURSES TO 3 HIGH SCHOOLS

Students at three high schools in Sanpete County will get a chance to expand their vocational education for the first time through classes at Snow College conducted by the Applied Technology Center in Richfield.

Officials have announced that electronics and auto mechanics, or automotive technology, courses will be available in the fall for students at North Sanpete, Gunnison and Manti high schools.The action follows an agreement between Snow College in Ephraim, the Technology Center and the schools. SVATC classes will be conducted at the west campus of the college from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from noon to 2:30 p.m.

It was also announced that post high school students will be able to enroll in the courses at any time under an open-entry/open-exist format. College credit can be earned.
