On June 10, a small news story titled "Court reaffirms `clothed porn' conviction" appeared in your newspaper. I was very pleased to read of this success in the fight against child pornography. I was saddened to realize that it had been placed on the inside margin on page A8.
Interestingly, at the top of the preceding page was a much larger story titled "Firehouse Playboy ban struck down." This story about pornographic literature being allowed in the workplace of a county government agency received much greater prominence.I don't understand. Child pornography is one of the greatest evils of this generation and news of a victory, albeit small, in the war against child porn should be hailed and given prominence in your newspaper.
