Hyrum L. Evans left us Tuesday night, June 21, 1994 to join his sweetheart. He had a full and fruitful life.
Hy was born November 3, 1904 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Hyrum H. and Ida Rushton Evans. He worked as a brick mason with his father. Later he joined Coca-Cola, becoming a sales manager and retiring after 33 years of service. Hy married Lucille Beesley on September 10, 1931. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple after Lucille's passing on April 24, 1987.Hy and Lou had one daughter, Margo (husband, Dr. Michael M.) Homer, with four granddaughters, Kristina Blake, Diana Gardner, Minda Kjar, and Julia Homer. Hy enjoyed his seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services Friday, June 24th, at 12 noon, Larkin Chapel, 260 East South Temple, with a viewing one hour prior to funeral. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery. The family would like to express appreciation and thanks to the staff of Crosslands Health Care Center of Sandy, for their patience and loving care.
