Joan Jett's new album rocks like her old ones.
"Basically, it's three-chord, sweaty rock 'n' roll that we're after, that I feel comfortable doing, that I've always done," Jett says in Friday's issue of Entertainment Weekly. "I can't really see deviating from that too much. I wouldn't know how."Her latest CD, "Pure and Simple," continues in the style of hits like "I Love Rock and Roll," "Bad Reputation" and "Backlash" while pairing Jett with newcomers like L7's Donita Sparks and Bikini Kill's Kathleen Hanna.
