Larry Hancock has been named president and chief executive officer of St. Mark's Hospital. He has served as acting president of the hospital since Max Lauderdale left the position in April.
Hancock has been a Hospital Corp. of America employee since 1984. He has worked in several financial and administrative positions before being appointed chief financial officer.He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and a master's in public administration from Brigham Young University.
St. Mark's Hospital is owned by Columbia/HCA Health Care Corp., the nation's largest provider of health-care services. The group also owns Davis Hospital and Medical Center in Layton.
