FM-100’S CONCERN WAS CLASSY

SHARE FM-100’S CONCERN WAS CLASSY

I've lived across the street from Liberty Park for 38 years. Activities come and go, and we've seen them all. But this year, the Salt Lake Classic was different. What made it different for my family was the unprecedented letter we received two days before the race, informing the neighborhood of what was about to transpire.

Written by one of the event sponsors, Steve Johnson of FM-100 Radio, this letter outlined the day's schedule, informed us of safety and security precautions that were being taken and gave a phone number for us to call should we have any concerns. This small effort made us do a complete turnaround with our feelings toward events at the park. It was satisfying to see that somebody cared enough to think of our neighborhood. In my opinion, FM-100 has put the "class" back into the Classic.
