Lawrence Clyde Morton, 85, died June 26, 1994.
He was born August 23, 1908 in Eureka, Utah, to John Wesley and Cora Irene Bray Morton. He married Margaret Hindley October 25, 1927 in Provo, Utah. He attended schools in Eureka and Provo. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad in Rock Springs, Wyoming for 17 years and retired from Geneva Steel after 37 years.He is survived by his wife of American Fork; a daughter, Edna M. Webb, West Jordan; and a son, Larry J. Morton, American Fork; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara, a grandson, Chris, three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, 11 a.m. in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork, where friends may call Tuesday 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday one hour prior to services. Burial, American Fork Cemetery.
