SHARE FILLMORE WILL BOND TO UPGRADE WATER SYSTEM

The Fillmore City Council has authorized issuing up to $368,000 in water revenue bonds to mature over a period of 25 years.

City Recorder Marlene Cummings said a copy of the resolution that authorized the bond sale is available for inspection until July 7 at the city office.Money from the sale will be used to upgrade and extend the city's culinary water system.

The resolution calls for issuing Series A bonds at a rate of interest not to exceed 3 per cent and Series B bonds not to exceed 1.5 percent interest annually.
