A tanker trailer loaded with fuel oil rolled over near the mouth of Spanish Fork Canyon Monday afternoon, spilling the liquid on the highway.

The wheel of the second tanker of a two-tanker rig owned by Calder Bros. Transportation Inc. ran off U-214 at about 2300 East, causing the tanker to roll, said Utah County sheriff's Lt. Ron Fernstedt. The tractor pulling the two tankers did not tip over but dragged the fallen tanker about 200 yards, he said. The driver, Terry L. Williams, of Logan, was not injured.Fuel oil inside the 3,400-gallon tanker spewed onto the road. Officers from Utah County, the Utah Highway Patrol and Spanish Fork helped contain and clean up the oil. The Utah County Health Department also was on the scene.
