SHARE CEDAR CITY MEDICAL SECRETARY NAMED 1994 RECIPIENT OF STATEWIDE SUPPORTIVE PERSONNEL SERVICE AWARD

Sari Swapp was named recipient of the 1994 Supportive Personnel Service Award from the Utah Association of Home Health Agencies.

Swapp, medical secretary for the Valley View Medical Center Home Health Agency, received the statewide award at UAHHA meetings at the Homestead. Her ability to keep patient concerns No. 1 while managing a busy office and juggling a dozen tasks was cited during the ceremony.The VVMC employee was nominated for the award by her supervisor, Cathy Lozano.

"Sari is always on top of what's going on in the office, but no matter how busy she is, she always puts patient concerns first," Lozano said. "Patients often comment on her helpfulness and friendliness on the phone."

A VVMC employee of nearly four years, Swapp was honored as the November 1991 Employee of the Month at the Intermountain Health Care facility.
