Paul Thomas Rigby, age 40, died June 28, 1994 at home.
Born August 23, 1953 in Salt Lake City, Utah, son of Thomas C. and Phyllis Gene Pike Rigby. Married Peggy Davis in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, April 1977; later divorced. Married Alice Smith in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, November, 1986; later divorced. Worked for the Department of Corrections since 1978 and was dedicated to his job. Paul was known for his quiet strengths and kindnesses. He loved horses, motorcycles, the out-of-doors, especially the mountains, and Jackson Hole, Wyoming.He was a caring, loving father who made his children the center of his life.
Survived by daughter, Amanda Jo Rigby; son, Blair Paul Rigby, both of South Jordan; stepson, Victor Smith, Elko, Nevada; mother, Phyllis Rigby; father and stepmother, Thomas and Majorie Rigby; sisters, Kathy Felicetti, Salt Lake City; Karen Dobberstein, Schererville, Indiana; brothers, Alan and Bob Rigby, both of Salt Lake City; special friend during the last part of his life, Leslee Pitts and her daughter, Megan.
Funeral services will be held Friday, 11:00 a.m. at McDougal West Jordan Mortuary, 1861 West 7800 South, where friends may call Thursday 6-8 p.m. and Friday 10-10:45 a.m. Interment: South Jordan City Cemetery.
