Frederick V. Robinson, age 68, passed away June 2, 1994 at his home in Salt Lake City, Utah, of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. He courageously fought this disease for seven years.
Born April 20, 1926 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of James Scribbner and Florence Phillips Robinson. Married Robin Tankersley in Daytona Beach, Florida, February 14, 1950, later divorced. Fred was in the construction business many years, owning Robinson Construction, later worked in Alta, Utah, building additions to and co-managing The Alta Lodge. He built many stores in local malls and remodeled private residences. He loved his family and enjoyed his work. He liked to go hunting and camping, play bridge and Scrabble, and attend classes at Salt Lake Community College. He especially enjoyed his cat, Banshee.Preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Dr. Phillip Robinson, William "Ralph" Robinson.
Survived by his seven children, Wayne (Helen) Robinson, Brookings, Oregon; Shirley (Ken) Knighton, Farmington, Utah; Bradley (Cindy) Robinson, Bonnie Rogers, Barbara (Ken) Nelson, all of Bountiful, Utah; Natalie (Buzz) Rosson, Longmont, Colorado; Amy Robinson, Salt Lake City, Utah. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, and ex wife and best friend, Robin Robinson. Special thanks to Dr. Reilly and staff at Salt Lake Clinic.
