The Levan Town Planning and Zoning Commission and the Levan Town Council have scheduled a public hearing on Wednesday, June 8, at 7 p.m. to hear public comment on a proposed ordinance dealing with mobile homes.
"We have a moratorium on all building in Levan," said Martin Poulson, town council member over building.Levan Mayor Connie Dubinsky said the planning and zoning commission indicated it would prefer having single-wide mobile homes located in parks rather than on individual lots.
Council members decided to allow no building permits in the town until the ordinance on mobile homes is decided.
