Jody Dean Anderson, 22, of Salt Lake City, died June 5, 1994, due to injuries sustained in a tragic motorcycle accident.

He was born August 29, 1971 in Salt Lake City, the son of Diane Detavis and Vincent Archuleta. He graduated from Brighton High School in 1990 and had many goals and aspirations. He had great talents. He loved and cared for his family and friends, who will miss him dearly. We love you, Jody, and will remember you forever. Your baby, Anthony, will grow up and know the good dad he had.He is survived by his grandmother, Stella Candelaria; brothers, Daniel (Rita) Marquez, Patrick "P.J." Valdez, Vinnie Archuleta, and Chauncy Archuleta; sisters, Lucinda Anderson, Angel Archuleta and Sunshine Alisha Archuleta. His second parents, Steve and Pat McCarty, along with Greg and Julee, will keep him close to them through good memories. We miss you so much. His girlfriend, Lisa Esquibel and one year old son, Anthony. His father, Vincent (Peggy) Archuleta. His close aunts, uncles and many cousins. He had many extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane, who will be with him now in heaven.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 174 East 900 South. Vigil Service Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Neil O'Donnell and Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 South, where friends may call from 6-7 p.m. Committal: Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
