SHARE PROGRAM TO OFFER LOOK AT STARS FROM TOP OF HIDDEN PEAK

The Snowbird Stargazer program, which offers a look at the stars from atop Hidden Peak, will be held five nights during August and September.

Each program will begin with a short lecture/slide show and end with a late-night tram ride to the top of Hidden Peak, where telescopes will be available.John Barainca, who received a master's degree from BYU, will lead each lecture. Barainca has been a science teacher at Brighton High School for 22 years and was selected as one of Utah's two representatives to NASA's "Teachers in Space."

Stargazer will be held at 8 p.m. in the Snowbird Center on Aug. 13, 20, 27 and Sept. 3 and 17. Cost is $12 per adult and $6 per child. Call Snowbird's Office of Entertainment and Special Events at 521-6040, extension 4080, for additional information.
