One teenager on in-line skates was killed and another injured when they collided with a truck on 200 North at 650 West Tuesday evening.

Christopher A. Lamartina, 16, of Layton was pronounced dead at the scene by Davis County Emergency Medical Services. He and a companion were apparently skating east in the westbound lane on 200 North when they collided with a westbound pickup truck driven by a 16-year-old girl from Layton, according to a police press release.The other victim, also 16, was treated for minor injuries and released to his parents' care.

No citations have been issued, and the accident is under investigation.
