Timothy Hoyt Andersen, age 35, former resident of Provo, Utah, died June 4, 1994 in Houston, Texas of leukemia.

He was born December 25, 1958 in Provo, Utah, the son of the late Elder H. Verlan Andersen and Shirley Hoyt Andersen. He married Jana Lynne Farnsworth, August 22, 1980 in the Provo LDS Temple.Tim received his education in Utah, graduated from Provo High School and earned a BS degree in accounting from BYU. He served a two year LDS mission in Quebec, Canada. He was a Certified Public Accountant and had his own practice in Texas. Tim was an accomplished athlete and musician and served many years as a youth leader in church and Boy Scout groups.

He is survived by his wife, Jana, of Spring, Texas; and five children, Alan Dale, Devin Timothy, Charlotte, Tyler William and Jason Verlan; mother, Shirley Andersen, of Orem, Utah; four brothers, Hans Verlan, Jr., Glen Lee, Dale Edwin, and Dean Andrew; six sisters, Ladawn Jacob, Karen Redd of Farmington, Utah; Lynette Lewis, Kathy Kartchner, Shirley Gay Miller, and Elaine Andelin. He was preceded in death by son, Timothy Troy, and his father.

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 11, 1994 at 10:30 a.m. in the Lakeview Stake Center, 1850 So. 400 West, Orem, where friends may call 9-10 a.m. Burial will be in the Orem City Cemetery. Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary of Orem, funeral directors.
