SHARE BOARD OF PARDONS DENIES JUDY PAROLE

Cody Robert Judy has been denied parole and will have a rehearing before the Utah Board of Pardons in November 1995.

Judy, 29, was sent to prison in August 1993 for holding what he claimed to be a bomb to the head of then-President of the LDS Council of the Twelve Howard W. Hunter.The incident occurred during a fireside at Brigham Young University on Feb. 7, 1993, in front of 15,000 people. He is serving a 1-to-15-year sentence for aggravated burglary, assault and escape. After his arrest, Judy escaped from the Utah State Hospital while undergoing mental evaluation.
