SHARE DEATH: WALTER FREEMAN PHILLIPS

Born October 16, 1876, to Harriet Emmeline Norton and Leonard Phillips in Echo, Utah; died December 14, 1901, of pneumonia in Honokaa, Hawaii, while serving as a missionary with his wife for the LDS Church.

Buried in Waimea, (Kamuela) Island of Hawaii. His remains returned for burial in family lot in Heber City, Utah.Married Ann Elizabeth Rasband (deceased) June 13, 1900, in Salt Lake LDS Temple. One child, Anna LeIsle Phillips (deceased), born in Laie, Oahu, Hawaii.

Survived by five grandchildren, Virginia R. Zobrist (Las Vegas, Nev.); R. Phillip Rasmussen, Marilyn R. Graehl, Dona R. Bullock, L. Neil Rasmussen, all of Salt Lake; 30 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services Saturday, June 11, 1994, at 9 a.m. in Heber City Cemetery under direciton of Olpin Mortuary.
