Clarence Donald Weiss, our loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, died June 8, 1994 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born June 19, 1918 in Evansville, Indiana to Clarence Stephen Weiss and Elvera Ruschmeir.He was a life member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Retired from the Rio Grande Railroad after 40 years. Worked as a contractor with Harold Nielson for 27 years. Was an avid stamp collector, fine craftsman-he enjoyed making doll houses and miniature furniture for his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include wife of 54 years; daughters, Mrs. Carol Moore and husband, James; Mrs. Janet Travis and husband, Bill; Mrs. Janice Beaudry and husband, Melvin; son, James C. Weiss and wife, Marge'; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert; one half sister, Gerri Tisdel; one half brother, Stephen Weiss; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by a son, Gary Donald; daughter, Tamara Richards.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 11, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 1030 South 500 East, at 11 a.m. Interment, Mount Olivet Cemetery. Funeral directors, Evans & Early Mortuary.
