"Amelia Earhart: The Final Flight" (Sunday, 8 and 10 p.m., TNT) manages to bring the long-dead aviatrix, her fairly familiar story, and the acting career of Diane Keaton back to life.
Keaton, whose recent performances have been less than inspired, is darn good in the title role. And she has plenty of help.Bruce Dern plays the almost huckster-ish husband who made Earhart a media star. And Rutger Hauer is the navigator who was lost with the aviatrix.
Best of all, "The Final Flight" humanizes a legend, makeing the viewer care about a woman who has become that legend because of a mystery that still hasn't been solved.
