Police say youths who vandalized a local church during the weekend left behind important clues: They used a copying machine to leave pictures of their faces.

"I wish more people would leave pictures for us at the scene," Rupert Police Officer Val Maxwell said.But officers didn't need the flat, distorted mug shots found at Church of the Nazarene. One of the three Rupert youths confessed to his parents.

"They were pretty embarrassed," Officer Don Wilkinson said.
