The Salt Lake Buzz scored four runs in the first inning Saturday night and then their bats went silent as the Calgary Cannons cruised to 10-4 victory.

Steve Dunn accounted for most of the Buzz's offense, smacking a three-run homer off Calgary starter Erik Plantenberg in the first. But the Calgary lefthander shut out the Buzz over the next six innings, striking out four and limiting Salt Lake to seven hits and four runs for the night.Buzz starter Shawn Bryant was cruising along smoothly with a 4-1 lead until the fifth inning, when Calgary batters let loose with four home runs. Bryant surrendered eight hits and five runs (all of them earned) over five innings to take the loss.

For the night, the Cannons got six home runs from six different players.
